Student Protests

Amid the ongoing student protests across the country, here is a flashback of the hunger strike by the students of Jadavpur University in July 2018, demanding a transparent, clear and swift decision-making process from the Executive Council of the varsity with respect to rules for undergraduate admissions, which were changed at the time leaving thousands of aspirants in a lurch. Students have in most cases been the catalyst for mass movements.
