Bhopal: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has vast investment opportunities with human and natural resources and industry-friendly policies, inviting investors to the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to attend the GIS scheduled for February 24-25 in the state capital Bhopal.

Addressing an interactive session with the industrialists and businessmen in Maharashtra’s Pune on Wednesday, CM Yadav emphasised the immense potential as an industrial hub in the state, and he highlighted its strategic focus on industrial development and employment generation.

The Chief Minister emphasised the state’s investment-friendly policies, world-class infrastructure, and skilled workforce. “Madhya Pradesh has emerged as a preferred destination for investments with its natural beauty, heritage sites, and robust infrastructure,” he remarked.

The Chief Minister asserted that Madhya Pradesh offers a conducive environment for businesses with minimal labour issues and administrative hurdles. “The ethos of ‘Ease of Doing Business’ is deeply embedded in our governance and society. Leveraging technology, the state has streamlined industrial operations, making processes simpler and more efficient for businesses,” he said.

Yadav expressed confidence that the GIS, graced by PM Modi, would deepen the relationship between the industrial sector and the state.

Industrialists participating in the session praised the state for its “investor-friendly” environment. Hiroshi Yoshizawa, MD of Bridgestone India Pvt. Ltd., appreciated the state’s geographical advantages, skilled workforce, and supportive governance. Similarly, Sudhir Mehta, Chairman of Pinnacle Industries Ltd., described the state as an ideal investment destination.

Senior state officials including Raghvendra Kumar Singh, Sanjay Dubey, and Bidisha Mukharjee delivered detailed presentations on investment opportunities in various sectors, including IT, tourism, and manufacturing.

CM Yadav held discussions with prominent industrialists, exploring investment opportunities across sectors such as renewable energy, gaming, automotive, chemicals, and education.
