Bhanu: 43rd AIPEC 2024-25 kicks off with grandeur at ITBP’s Basic Training Centre

Bhanu: The 43rd All India Police Equestrian Championship & Mounted Police Duty Meet – 2024-25 (AIPEC) commenced with a spectacular opening at the Basic Training Centre, ITBP Campus, Bhanu. The prestigious event was inaugurated by Gaurav Yadav, IPS, Director General of Police, Punjab, as the Chief Guest. Bringing together elite riders from 19 states and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), this 10-day championship (March 12-23, 2025) will witness 588 male and female riders competing in ranking, individual, team, and mixed events.
Lauding ITBP’s preparations, Chief Guest Gaurav Yadav called the event a remarkable platform to refine and showcase the equestrian skills of police personnel. Welcoming the dignitaries and participants, Ashok Negi, PMG, Inspector General, Basic Training Centre, Bhanu, ITBP, reaffirmed ITBP’s legacy of excellence in equestrian sports and ensured seamless arrangements for the championship.
