Lootera Ranveer gives up on mobile and TV

Actor Ranveer Singh stopped watching television and using his cell-phone while preparing for his forthcoming release Lootera, a period romance drama.
Set in the 1950s, Vikramaditya Motwane directed film will see Ranveer playing an archeologist.
‘It was very interesting to do a period film because a new world is created. I had no clue about 1950s, so to live a character who is living in that era, was very interesting,’ said Ranveer.
‘I did very interesting preparation before playing the character. I stopped watching television and using mobile,’ the actor said.
‘I became very calm. I have given a very calm performance,’ he added.
His last release was 2011 hit Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and Ranveer wants to end the 'long wait' with Lootera.
