Lagaan actor Rajesh Vivek no more

Actor Rajesh Vivek, best known for his role in films like Lagaan breathed his last on Thursday. The revered artist died after suffering a heart attack. He reportedly suffered a heart attack while shooting in Hyderabad on Thursday. He was 66.

Vivek had played the character of Guran in Lagaan. He has also played an important role in films such as Swades and God Tussi Great Ho. Although, he was away from the limelight for the past several years. 

“He passed away today (Thursday) around 3 o’clock in the afternoon,” Vivek’s friend Vishnu Sharma said. 

His last rites will be performed in Mumbai on Friday.
