Haridwar ready for Ardh-Kumbh with 7 new bridges

Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat is on a whirlwind tour visiting far-flung areas in the state and interacting with people for the past one week. Inaugurating a two-day fair in Tehri Garhwal, he said: “Seven new bridges have been built over the Ganga for the convenience and safety of devotees during the Ardh-Kumb fair.” He said he was also monitoring the progress of the project. The popular fair is scheduled to be held at Haridwar from January 14 to April 7 2016.
