Willing to ‘wait for the right project’ after ‘Stree 2’: Shraddha Kapoor

Shraddha Kapoor recently made a stylish splash at the Red Sea Film Festival 2024 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She walked the red carpet alongside Hollywood A-lister Andrew Garfield, known for playing Spider-Man. Shraddha also mingled with other prominent international stars, including Benedict Cumberbatch, Adam Ackland and Jeremy Renner. However, it was the ‘Stree 2’ star’s stunning appearance that stole the show, leaving fans and netizens alike in awe of her beauty and poise.
Shraddha wore a regal gown by Indian designer Falguni Shane Peacock, featuring a strapless design, a deep neckline and a sheer blue embellished short dupatta-style drape placed on one shoulder. The gown was part of the designer’s ‘Rang Mahal’ couture collection.
As Shraddha posed with Andrew on the red carpet of the Red Sea Film Festival, fans couldn’t help but notice the charming moment shared between the two stars. Netizens took to social media to express their admiration for the pair, with some even jokingly referring to them as ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makda’, a playful reference to Shraddha’s film ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’ with Ranbir Kapoor.
Shraddha’s appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival was not just about glamour and glitz. She also shared her thoughts on the future of Indian cinema and her own approach to choosing roles. “I feel the best is yet to come if I have to say. I feel that there’s a lot that I want to do, different kinds of films and characters,” she said during an informal conversation at the festival, reported ‘The Hollywood Reporter India’.
Shraddha emphasised the importance of being selective about roles, stating that she is willing to wait for the right project rather than taking on something that doesn’t resonate with her. “I’m okay to not do something or do films back-to-back, that I don’t feel in my gut. So, I’m looking to be part of films as an actor that are different for me. That’s what I’m after now,” she said.
