Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan, is generating significant buzz for his debut performance in ‘Azaad’, which will hit the big screens on January 17. The young actor portrays Govind, a modest village boy with a profound, unwavering bond with his horse, Azaad. Reflecting on the experience, Aaman fondly recalls a life-changing conversation with his uncle, Ajay, about the film ‘Legend of Bhagat Singh’, which ignited his passion for acting.

While promoting ‘Azaad’, Aaman announced his next project ‘Jhalak’ and during a recent media interaction, he opened up about his journey into acting, revealing that at just 15 years old, he was first introduced to the world of cinema and made the pivotal choice to pursue an acting career.

Aaman fondly reminisced about his first exposure to the life of an actor. He was quite young when he saw his uncle in the role of Bhagat Singh and vividly remembers asking Ajay about the outfit he was wearing. “It was part of acting,” his uncle had explained, sharing how he transformed for different roles.

This conversation proved to be a turning point in Aaman’s life, laying the foundation for his decision to embrace acting. He fondly recalls being just 15 at the time and how this moment sparked his ambition to enter the world of cinema.

To bring ‘Azaad’ to life, Aaman immersed himself in extensive preparation, including horseback riding and spending quality time with the horse to establish a genuine connection. The actor is fully committed to portraying the bond between his character and the animal by even taking on the daily responsibilities of caring for the horse, from feeding to cleaning it.

Directed by the acclaimed Abhishek Kapoor, ‘Azaad’ promises to be an emotionally stirring narrative about the powerful connection between humans and animals.
