Don Lee sparks speculation about his potential role in ‘Salaar Part 2’

With a massive fanbase in India, it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to consider South Korean American actor Lee Dong-seok - known by his stage names Don Lee and Ma Dong-seok - an honourary Indian star. From ‘The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil’ (2019), ‘Train to Busan’ (2016) and ‘The Outlaws’ (2017) to ‘Unstoppable’ (2018), ‘Champion’ (2018), ‘The Bad Guys: Reign of Chaos’ (2019), ‘The Roundup’ (2022) and ‘Eternals’ (2021), Don Lee has made a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
Very recently, rumours surfaced suggesting that Lee may soon officially join Indian cinema, taking on a key role in director Prashanth Neel’s upcoming action thriller ‘Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam’, one of the most eagerly awaited films and his latest social media post has only fuelled this speculation.
On Saturday, Lee took to ‘Instagram Stories’ to share a poster of ‘Salaar: Part 2’, starring Prabhas in the lead role, which immediately set off a buzz on social media, with fans speculating about Lee’s possible involvement in the film. A sequel to Neel and Prabhas’s ‘Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire’ (2023), ‘Salaar 2’ is currently one of the most anticipated films. The excitement following Lee’s post was so intense that it temporarily blocked his ‘Instagram’ account due to high traffic.
