Dev Anand’s films inspired me, says Ranveer

For his forthcoming movie Lootera, actor Ranveer Singh watched veteran actor Dev Anand's movies to learn the art of expressing through his eyes.
Ranveer, 27, has always played high-on-energy roles in his previous films. But for Lootera, director Vikramaditya Motwane wanted him to portray maximum emotions through his eyes, and not via body language.
Lootera is a tribute to 1950s. We have styled our romance on Dev Anand,’ spokesperson of the film said in a statement. Lootera also stars Sonakshi Sinha. It releases 5 July.
