Police encounter: Constable hurt, 2 suspects nabbed

NEW DELHI: A police raid in Tilak Nagar turned violent during the night of Thursday and Friday as an exchange of fire erupted between Outer Delhi’s Special Staff Police and wanted criminals. Two suspects, involved in an armed robbery, were arrested.

Constable Sandeep sustained gunshot wounds but is stable. Police recovered two country-made pistols and a Yamaha R15 motorcycle. Investigations are ongoing.
