Actors Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt on Friday unveiled the trailer of the film 2 States, based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestseller 2 States: The Story Of My Marriage.
The film’s plot revolves around a Punjabi boy, who falls in love with a Tamil girl. The regional and cultural clash that it leads to is what forms the rest of the story. The trailer, which was launched at an event here, captures some fun as well as intense moments of the movie. Both the lead actors are upbeat about the movie, which is directed by Abhishek Varman and co-produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. ‘It’s a dream come true for me to be part of this film. I’m grateful to Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Chetan Bhagat to have cast me in 2 States,’ Arjun said. Alia said: ‘I was reading 2 States while I was shooting for Student Of The Year.'
