Pak, Italy to promote enterprises development

Islamabad: Pakistan and Italy have agreed to promote enterprises development and remove bottlenecks in promotion of trade.
The two sides have agreed to increase institutional collaboration, promote small and medium enterprises development and collaborate in important sectors like livestock, energy, infrastructure, oil and gas, transport management and chemicals, a report published in Radio Pakistan said on Thursday.
The Pakistan delegation was led by Minister of State for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan while Italian side was headed by Deputy Minister Italian Ministry of Economic Development Ivan Scalfarotto.
The countries signed three letters of Intent for cooperation in Textiles, Footwear and Stone sectors.
The agreement was reached at the third session of Pak-Italy Joint Economic Commission in Rome, Italy on Wednesday.
