“AAP is all set to come over from the set back of the defeat in last Lok Sabha election. We are not in a mood to take any chance and have been campaigning extensively to meet as many voters as possible through our padyatras in all the constituencies to win the coming election. Arvind Kejriwal is likely to visit all the constituencies and also will engage in some padyatras in some of the constituencies. All our senior leaders have been conducting the Nukkad Sabahas with the local people. They are having around eight to ten such meetings with the people,” said Atishi Marlena, a senior AAP leader.
“We believe in door-to-door campaign, and through it we feel that we can convince people to vote for us. Political rallies are not serving for us the purpose of enticing voters support,” she added.
The party had instructed its leaders and candidates to hold the Mohalla Sabhas at their respective assemblies get the feed back that what people are expecting from them. All candidates and volunteers being asked to plan small group meetings with the people in their areas.
“We are sending letters and have distributed pamphlets through newspapers and inviting local residents for our meetings, in which we discuss matters such as women security, sewers, water and electricity etc,” said a AAP leader.
Marlena also said, “We will conduct more flash mob, music concerts to promote the party ideology among the voters.”
