50 year old woman murdered

A 50-year-old woman was found murdered at her house in Patel Nagar area of Central Delhi, police said.
'We received the call at around 5.30 pm. The deceased identified as Neelam Kumari, found dead at her house located at the second floor in West Patel Nagar,' said a police officer.
Her husband, Rajinder Kumar, an accountant in Delhi Race Club was not present in the house when the incident was occurred. He left the house at around 12.30 in the afternoon, when returned back, saw the house door was locked from outside.
When he entered into the house found her wife lying in the pool of blood with a cloth rounded on her neck. He immediately informed the police. The murder case has been registered in Patel Nagar Police Station and investigations are on.
According to the police officials, it was looking as a friendly entry into the house. Meanwhile, Kumar alleged that some jewellery has been missing from his wife's body. 'We are investigating the case from all possible angles,' said an officer. He did not rule out the possibility of personal enmity.
