Are there any upcoming projects for us to look forward to?
Yes. I have sung a very different song for the film 'Bareilyki Barfi' called 'Twist Kamariya'. It's my first song with Tanishq Bagchi, a very talented composer. It has a very catchy tune which is not similar to any of my older songs.
Your favourite book?
Life of Pi. I was really excited when the film realised because I had already read the book.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate yourself as a singer?
As I feel that there's always a scope for improvement, I'd give myself an 8.

My family, food and my phone because it has music in it.

'Heer' from Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a song really close to my heart.
