Kejriwal interacts with AAP volunteers on Google hangout

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind ?Kejriwal ?on Sunday claimed that the popularity of his government has increased after coming to power and people of Delhi are happy with his work style.

He also blamed the Central government for posing hurdles before his government and even fomenting nefarious designs to fail his government. However, he vowed to move against all odds. The Chief Minister also lashed out at media for anti-government news. In a scathing attack on media the Chief Minister said that his government would support new media houses.

“We had received 54 percent votes in Delhi assembly election but if elections are held today Aam Aadmi Party will get 72 percent votes,” said Kejriwal citing internal surveys. “I used to carry out surveys on every 15 days. The popularity of BJP government in the centre has decreased like other governments but the popularity of AAP has increased after forming the government,” he added.

While interacting with AAP volunteers on Google hangout he said, “Around 10 percent people are ‘good’ by birth and 10 percent others are ‘bad’ by birth while remaining 80 percent flow with the air. Since there is good corruption free air blowing in Delhi, 90 percent people have become good. The government officers are doing 90 percent good work,” said the Chief Minister in his half an hour address cum interaction.

This was the first Google hangout of the Chief Minister with party volunteers after forming the government and he promised for such interactions more frequently- in every 15-20 days. The Chief Minister expressed his confidence to win upcoming MCD elections in 2017 and claimed that both Congress and BJP feared AAP. He further added that Lokpal Bill and Swaraj Bill will soon be sent to Central Government for approval.

Kejriwal also announced that his government will amend Delhi Education Act in the next Delhi assembly session to control arbitrary fee hike by private schools in the city.?

“We have got maps of four unauthorised colonies prepared on pilot project basis. We will soon open registry in these colonies. As the maps of other colonies are prepared their registry process will be started. The government has prepared a six point development agenda in these colonies including sewage, water etc,” said the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister further said that his government will construct 45 model schools at par with private schools while upgrade 150-200 government schools at par with private schools in the next one year and all the rest of the government schools will be upgraded in the second year of his government.
