Iran Festival 2024: A celebration of culture, cuisine & hospitality

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in collaboration with Eros Hotel, Nehru Place and CD Foundation, inaugurated a week-long Iran Festival on December 11, marking a vibrant celebration of Iranian culture, cuisine and tourism. The coffee morning event, held at Eros Hotel, was graced by prominent diplomats and ambassadors from Finland, Mongolia, Belarus, Malaysia and China.

His Excellency Dr Iraj Elahi, Ambassador of Iran to India, formally inaugurated the festival with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and an engaging address to the guests. Highlighting the ease of travel to Iran, he announced that Iran is now visa-free for Indian travelers and passports will not be stamped upon arrival, further encouraging Indian tourists to explore the rich heritage of Iran.

The Executive Director of ‘Maccan Travel Group’, the official travel partner of Iran tourism, Nazanine, emphasised Iran’s appeal as an all-season destination that caters to diverse interests, including luxury, leisure, entertainment and business travel.

The seven-day festival will feature a masterful showcase of authentic Iranian cuisine, prepared by renowned chefs specially flown in from Iran. Guests can indulge in a soulful array of traditional Iranian delicacies at Blooms, Eros Hotel, Nehru Place, from December 11 to December 17.
