Bollywood actor Kriti Sanon, who recently wrapped up the shooting of her maiden production venture ‘Do Patti’ co-starring Kajol, revealed that she was involved with the various aspects of the filmmaking process.
In an interaction with a leading media house, the ‘Mimi’ star expressed that she enjoyed sitting on the script with Kanika and figuring out certain creative things and how a script actually starts from the germ of an idea, goes through so many stages and finally takes the shape of a film.
The National Award-winning actor admitted that she was also involved with the music of the film and that she loved it. The actor added that she loves music in general and also loves being involved as a producer who jams with music composers and figures out what sounds right for the film.
The ‘Ganapath’ star further added that she always had a creative side to her that she wanted to explore not just through acting but also through every aspect of filmmaking.
The ‘Bhediya’ fame actor also revealed that, after acting and producing, she doesn’t intend on trying her hands at direction. According to her, a director’s job is far more difficult and ‘you have to stay with that one project for a very long time’.
Recently, Kriti Sanon took to her ‘Instagram’ handle to share videos and pictures from the set of ‘Do Patti’. She wrote, “Every film has a piece of my heart in it, but some have my soul too. ‘Do Patti’ has had my heart, soul, brain, love, tears, dreams and more. This is my first time as a producer under ‘Blue Butterfly Films’ and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this creative journey!”
‘Do Patti’ also stars Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Shaheer Sheikh. The film is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and will premiere on ‘Netflix’.
