CM to call special assembly session on Jan Lokpal Bill at Ramlila Maidan

Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has reiterated his poll-promise to call a special session of Delhi assembly in Ram Lila Ground to pass Jan Lokpal Bill for Delhi. The chief minister also announced to launch the anti-corruption helpline by Thursday. ‘We are drafting a training module for officers of anti-corruption and vigilance department to nab bribe seekers on the spot,’ said Kejriwal to media persons, after a high level meeting of state vigilance and anti-corruption cell of Delhi government.

‘I have written to Lieutenant of Delhi and will meet to Delhi police commissioner to fulfil the vacancy in vigilance department,’he added. According to Delhi government there are 19 vacancies out of 30 sanctioned posts in vigilance department. ‘Delhi police has provided us 11 inspectors but they are not sufficient, I will meet Delhi police commissioner in this regard,’he added. Kejriwal also announced that his government will deliver Swaraj Bill- decentralisation of power through Mohalla Sabha, by the end of this month.
