Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh on Tuesday alleged connivance of Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress leaders in drug and sex racket in the country. He invited all the political parties to raise the issue as it is prevalent in all the metros of the country.

‘The sex racket is the main source of women trafficking in the country. All the political parties, including Congress and BJP just give lip service on the issue but don’t raise their voice against sex and drug racket strongly,’ said Singh. ‘Will Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi just deliver speeches or come out to support our cause,’ quentioned Singh. He further added that his party workers will raise their voice against this menace where ever possible.

‘We will sit to decide future course of action on this issue. We will finalise our strategy to fight
this issue at national level,’ he added.

‘If it’s politics then I think we should do politics on the issues related to people,’ he said replying to the opposition who blame AAP for indulging in cheap politics. Singh also defended his law minister Somnath Bharti and claiming that he was innocent. ‘He has done nothing wrong. Court has just ordered that an FIR be registered against unknown persons but not against him,’ he added.
