AAP to focus on Mission 50

Update: 2014-12-04 23:22 GMT
Following the footsteps of BJP, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is likely to launch its Mission 50 soon, which will focus on winning the said number of seats in the national Capital during the forthcoming elections. It said that cadets from across the country will assemble here to render support. The party said these cadets will train the party workers in Delhi and make them ready for campaigning.

AAP cadres have shifted their focus to the national Capital again. All senior party leaders and workers are coming back to Delhi for campaigning on behalf of the candidates. While the Congress and BJP are very aggressive in their election campaigning, AAP is yet to up the ante and gain momentum and strategise.

Senior party leader Yogendra Yadav said the party is in touch with all its members across the country. It has already directed its MLAs and other representatives to hold meetings for showcasing the AAP government’s achievements during its 49-day rule, said the leader. In sharp contrast to the dominant culture of paid workers, these volunteers from within and outside Delhi and indeed, Indians residing in foreign lands are providing an all-out effort for the success of AAP.

The party salutes the spirit of these volunteers, said the leader. The party is expecting a huge support from Haryana. Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Yogendra Yadav attended a meeting with the representatives of Haryana AAP unit on Wednesday.
