WBSEDCL gets SKOCH Award for Hydel project in Purulia

Kolkata: West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has been conferred the prestigious SKOCH Award Energy Silver for Purulia Pumped Storage Hydel Project and SKOCH Order of Merit for qualifying amongst Top 20 Energy Projects in India.

It was based on spot master card preparation through android-based mobile app, mobile internet-based cash collection system, in-house development for accident module for reporting, inspection, compensation in SAP-ERP and Purulia Pumped Storage Hydel Project on December 5 in New Delhi by the SKOCH group.

The awards are in recognition of the pioneering projects undertaken by WSEDCL to provide 24x7 quality and uninterrupted power supply to over 1.85 crore valued consumers. This is yet another achievement of West Bengal power sector.
