Krishna Gupta, former principal secretary IT department, has been appointed as the Principal resident Commissioner in New Delhi.
He has been succeeded by Debashis Sen, additional chief secretary who will be looking after the IT department as an additional charge along with his assignment as the chairman of Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation (HIDCO) and New Kolkata Township Development Authority (NKDA).
Indevar Pandey, principal secretary Public Works Department who was the Principal Resident Commissioner, New Delhi as an additional charge has been appointed as the advisor Industries, New Delhi as an additional charge. Gopal Krishna, additional chief secretary, Labour department has been transferred as the director general Administrative Training Institute (ATI). He will be succeeded by Rajesh Kumar Sinha who has been appointed as the secretary, Labour department. He will look after the department of Agricultural marketing with additional charge as the secretary Mass Education and Library Services department. Puneet Yadav who was officer on special duty, ATI, has been transferred as the Additional Director General, ATI. Smita Pandey has been appointed as the joint secretary Consumer Affairs department. Sanjay Basu, who is the District Magistrate, South Dinajpur has become the executive director of West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation (WBIDC). Kanwaljit Singh Cheema, who has returned from interstate deputation, has become the managing director Warehousing Corporation and ex officio secretary, Food and Supplies department. Sharad Diwedi who was the executive director WBIDC has become the new District Magistrate of South Dinajpur.
