Slew of projects in Noida to boost infrastructural growth
Noida: Aiming to boost infrastructural growth, the Noida Authority on Friday approved an entertainment hub which will include a golf course cum club, tourist spot like Chowki Dhani and a helipad in sector 151A of Noida. Apart from this, a Noida convention and habitat centre in sector 94 and a start-up hub at phase-2 and at seventh floor of multi level parking at Botanical Garden have also been proposed.
The decisions were taken in 197th board meeting of Noida Authority chaired by Chairman of all the three authorities Alok Tandon. Apart from the Chairman, Noida authority's Chief Executive Officer Ritu Maheshwari; Narendra Bhooshan, CEO Greater Noida Authority; and Arun Vir Singh, CEO Yamuna Expressway Authority also took part in the meeting.
As per a senior Noida Authority officer, the authority has identified 120 acres of land in sector 151A to construct golf course, adventure club and helipad.
"Nearly 120 acres of land will be utilised for constructing the entertainment hub. The golf course cum club house will be constructed at 90 acres of land, 20 acres of the land will be used for adventure sport while a helipad will be constructed in 10 acres of land under PPP model. Once constructed, the new facility will attract tourists and will also benefit the residents of Noida," the officer said.
The board also approved a Noida convention and habitat centre in sector 94 which will cater to the need of a large community Centre for any social or cultural activity.
"The convention and habitat centre will have two large auditoriums which will have a seating capacity of more than 3250 persons. Apart from this, six banquet halls with seating capacity of 400 to 500 persons each will also be a part of this. A hotel with 150 rooms, art gallery, open air theatre and retail space for shops have also been included," the officer added.
Apart from this, the authority has also planned to give an own space for all those people who want to have their own start-up. The authority will construct a start-up hub in phase-2 and at seventh floor of multi level parking at Botanical Garden. The authority officials claimed that space for nearly 200 new start-ups will be provided there. Further on builder buyer issue, the authority has extended the date for dues clearance till November 30 from earlier August 31 this year.
