Former Delhi BJP chief Mange Ram Garg dies of illness
New Delhi: Former Delhi BJP president Mange Ram Garg died on Sunday due to illness. As the news broke, several party workers, his colleagues and many other party leaders along with huge number of localities reached at party office to pay respect and homage.
His last journey for cremation started from his residence Ashok Vihar Phase-2 at 11:30 am and reached at BJP Delhi Party office at 12 noon where a big number of people from across the section of society from Delhi NCR & and adjoining states paid their respect to their beloved leader.
Home Minister Amit Shah, senior leader Lal Krishan Advani, National Vice President Shivraj Singh Chauhan, Shushma Swaraj, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, National Organisation secretary BL Santosh and BJP Delhi State president Manoj Tiwari and many party workers provided solace to the bereaved family. While paying his last tribute Amit Shah said that late Shri Mange Ram Garg was all along his life worked dedicatedly to the service of the people. From the time of Jansangh till date he was serving people of Delhi. His sudden demise is a very big loses which cannot be compensated.
While paying his condolences Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari said that Garg greatly contributed in the expansion of the party and for the raising the problems of the people is unparalleled and this was the reason why BJP has won many elections. He made his place in the heart of crore of the people of Delhi. His sudden demise is a great lose to the party. He in his lifetime done many great endeavors for the party and for the welfare of people of Delhi. By donating his body he has set a great precedence.
